Barry is a Lieutenant for the Memphis Fire Department. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Fire Administration, and is a Paramedic. Barry has served both as a paid and volunteer firefighter and emergency services professional for over 25 years. Hes also currently attending the Executive Fire Officer Program with the National Fire Academy. In fact, hes a third generation firefighter! On todays podcast, Barry shares the inside scoop on how to become a firefighter, the differences in paid and volunteer firefighters, and about a study hes conducting on sleeps impact on performance.
